EPB 2050 Renovation
Bringing your Brussels home up to the 2033 and 2050 energy targets, from the audit to the handover of the works.
Is your home rated F, E or D and you don’t know where to start? Habibi ARCHI supports you from the energy audit to the handover of the works, with a clear goal: bringing your house, apartment or co-ownership building up to the Brussels energy requirements of 2033, then 2050, without sacrificing architectural quality.
In Brussels, every home will have to reach at least 275 kWh/m²/year (the current E class) by 2033 at the latest, then 150 kWh/m²/year (C class) by the end of 2045 at the earliest. The 2050 target is an average of 100 kWh/m²/year. In renovation, heating oil has been banned since June 2025, and gas will be banned in deep renovations for permits submitted from 2030.
From energy audit to handover of the works.

Insulate first,
heat second.
Roof, façades, windows, floors, airtightness and ventilation: we sequence the works so that nothing has to be done twice. The heat pump and solar panels come next, on a building that has become energy-efficient. The plan can be carried out in one go or phased over several years.
